Cinderella lives with her father, Baron Hardup. They are very poor and can't afford a TV to watch the dancing. At the palace, Prince Charming has everything apart from rhythm! The judges on the TV show give Prince Charming the lowest score ever, so he decides to quit. But a chance meeting with a girl collecting firewood changes everything. Will Cinderella go to the royal ball, and will she find her Prince Charming before the clock strikes midnight?

The day after a wild opening night, an actress races to the theatre, late for an important performance. As she prepares to go onstage, she tries to piece together “the happening” from the previous night.

Morecambe FM disc jockey Lewis Loud is thrilled to be appearing in his first pantomime 'Dick Whittington' opposite glamorous soap star Tamsin,with whom he starts an affair though his flair for improvisation sets him against the conservative director Francis and ambitious producer Di,who is pushing her reluctant daughter Chantelle. Other cast members are discontented - RADA-trained Johnny feels it is a come-down to be playing the dame whilst pint-sized Greg is disappointed to be the non-speaking cat rather than one of the seven dwarfs that he normally plays. Lewis also has his young son Paul dumped on him when his ex-wife chooses to go abroad with her new man. Crisis occurs when Tamsin pulls out of the show to enter a TV reality contest and asks Lewis to go with her. But Lewis will not disappoint his son or his fellow performers and,ill-assorted as they may be,they are all professionals and they pull together to ensure the success of the panto.

Condemned to life as a kitchen maid, Cinderella has to wait hand and foot on her unpleasant, ugly sisters. When her fairy godmother allows her to go to the Prince's ball, it is love at first sight for Cinderella and the Prince. But, Cinderella has to hurry away before the magic spell wears off leaving only a glass slipper. The Prince must search his kingdom to find the owner.
